About the Project

This project was crafted for MeSure, an imaginary company. The purpose of this video is to advocate for remote work best practices. The video showcases both desired behaviors and counterexamples to illustrate MeSure's expectations. It covers multiple instances of effective remote work skills, aiming to guide remote workers towards success.

The video begins with an animated MeSure logo. The video has captivating visuals throughout, enhanced by dynamic animations that create an engaging visual charm. To complement the visual experience, a gentle and soothing musical score has been added to the video's introduction and conclusion, gently fading in and out for an added touch.

Course Development Insights

While creating this course I learned how to create an animated logo in Camtasia. I added music to the introduction that played while the logo was animating. I Learned a few new tricks to get the logo to spin. It was fun to learn how this works in Camtasia. I also created several other animations that enhanced the visual appeal. I used a combination of still images and a video clip to add variety for the viewer. Closed captioning was added to the video which can be turned on by the viewer.

Reflections

I loved creating the animated log and I hope to add more of these to videos I make in the future. I think animations help to bring the video to life and make it more interesting to view. Adding Closed Captions was easy and makes the course accessible for all users.
